Information Breakdown

Well, its official, my computer is crashing and my blackberry hates me.  I have lost all of my outlook files and my blackberry will not accept a charge.  I have lost all of my appointments, and those of you who know me know I live by my blackberry with all the appointments for Emma, so i am LOST!!!!

I no longer can gain access to my TDS email account, so please just delete it from you address books.

Please if you can, send me your current information so I can update my "paper" address book, until I can get to work on a new outlook and have my blackberry repaired!!!

Bye Daddy

Well, Yesterday morning at 3am we took Ricky back to work to deploy again.  They had to finish this patrol and will be home soon I hope.  We have gotten used to him going in and out, we are just happy it is nothing like when we were on a fast attack submarine in Hawaii.  We never saw him then.  He will be home soon again and then we will have him for the summer. 

Once he gets home for good we will know more about our orders and were we are going.  

We had a showing on our house last week and are told that they really liked it.  The couple is coming back this Wednesday to look at the house again.  We are keeping our fingers crossed that it sales and that housing on base will have a house ready for us, so we can just move on base until we have orders.  Hopefully in the next few weeks we will know more and will be getting ready to move.

Mike is a man

Well, its official, Michael is no longer my little boy, he is now a man, or so he says.  Last time he was at drill with his sea cadet troop, he was told that he needed to shave off that little bit of brown hair growing above his top lip.  I was trying my best to ignore it, pretend it was not there, but now I guess I can't anymore.  Like most women, I have no clue about shaving lips!!!!  I informed Michael that unless he wanted it waxed off, which he quickly said no to, he was going to have to wait on dad get get home from sea to take care of that!!!  So, I went to walmart and picked up razors and shave cream and last night Ricky and Michael had manly bonding time and shaved his lip.  Let the fun begin.

Everyone Else Is Doing It.

Well, I figured it was time to create a blog.  Emma has her own website, but other than sending mass emails, I really don't have a way to update everyone on the entire family.  With us being a navy family, we have friends around the country, and even a few in other countries, so this will work out to be an easier way to let everyone know what is going on with all of us.

I guess I should start with saying, Ricky came home last night.  He is only home for a little while and then gone again.  We will all be happy when he is home for good.  He seems in good spirits.  They had their big test for his division and scored an above average on it.  He was really happy about that.  He is just happy to be home and eat home cooked food.

Michael made rank in his sea cadet troop.  He was also promoted to Sea Cadet from League Cadet.  He has two camps planned for this summer.  He will be going to recruit training in Belle Glades, FL, June 8th-21st.  We will be driving down for his graduation on the 21st and anyone who wants to go is more than welcome to get all the information from us or follow us down.  Because it is such a long drive, we are planning on staying a night in Palm Beach or the Keys.  He then will be going to Port Ops camp here in Kings Bay, July 13-26th.  Anyone who wants to come to that graduation is welcome as well.  If you do not have an ID and base stickers please let me know so we can arrange to get you on the base.  He is still doing well in school, pulling in all A's and B's.

Emma is doing great.  She is starting to take steps in her gait trainer now and standing in her crib.  We are looking into getting her a safer bed before she takes a leap out of the crib.  She has really become more verbal, babbling all the time.  She was very excited to see her daddy again, her face lit up when he got in the car.

I have started taking photography classes.  I am really enjoying it.  I am about a quarter of the way done with my certification course.  I am hoping to start my own photography business by the end of the summer.  I already have a few sessions lined up to start building my portfolio.  I still have a few pieces of equipment I need to purchase to really get started, but it will not be long before I am on my way.  I have found that my family is the perfect test subjects for my photos.

I will post some pictures soon hopefully.  I have been having some computer troubles, but hopefully I will have lots of family pictures to post in the next few weeks.
